Wensday night / Thursday morning about 3AM EST 1/14/2021 Darkmyst staff entered our chat and asked who was in control. We stated that no one was really in "control" and that it was more or less group controlled. Then the person private messaged me.

[01/14/2021][03:46] XX Unfortunately, a number of people have reached out to the senior staff of the network to express their concerns over the presence of the #NoThiefsAllowed channel on the network, and how this negatively affects how safe they feel on our network.

[01/14/2021][03:46] XX While generally speaking we try to run Darkmyst as a server inclusive of more than just gaming (whether that be other hobbies, general socialising, etc.), our main focus does remain on that and the political nature of the channel is not the best fit with that.

[01/14/2021][03:46] XX Normally in these situations we would operate a hands-off policy towards channels, and we try to allow fairly autonomous operation (i.e. not interfering unless members of a channel are harassing others). However, given recent events and the concerns of our other members, the senior staff would like to ask you to move your community to another network. I would ask that you relocate by the end of the

So for the next few days, webpage chatters will have to use the Kiwi chat till we get Mibbit added. Also, in near future we may be able to add other chat clients along side Mibbit and Kiwi on the new IRC server.

We do not control or speak for you but would ask that you keep all this info to this new server/chat PRIVATE until we can transition all of our people over to here and away from Darkmyst first.
